This is by far the most unique and fun way in Chicago for large groups to dine together family-style! Upon your arrival at Frontier, you’ll check in with one of our hosts who will seat you. Once you’ve been seated, your designated server will take your guests’ drink orders, as well as put in any appetizer orders you might want. The whole animal will be served about a half hour to an hour after your reservation start time. One our chefs will carve the whole animal table-side while your guests will surely be snapping photos of the feast they are about to enjoy.
The different meat cuts are carved and placed on platters to be served family-style at your table with the four side dishes included in the package: 5 cheese mac, caesar salad with polenta croutons, succotash (vegetable medley) and cornbread.

MAIN BAR, BEER GARDEN, ELIXER ROOM, & THE CHEF'S TABLE
Frontier’s convenient river west location has four event spaces, each with their own unique vibe. On warmer days you can drink under open skies with our retractable roof in the Beer Garden, and if it’s too cold to open up the roof, the fully functional fireplace acts as a great focal point for the room. Frontier’s main room features a 40 foot long exposed timber bar and natural brick with a state-of-the-art ‘ice tap’ draft tower that lines the entire bar. The second floor lounge, the second floor lounge, is the perfect event space for private gatherings, which features scaled-down versions of many features that highlihgt the main bar area, which is warmed by a stone fireplace on cold nights. Lucky guests who book in advance can sit at the Chef’s Table and witness the frenetic magic of Chef Brian Jupiter’s open-air kitchen for up to 12 people.
Guests can choose from over 30 bottles, cans and large-format beers, wines, and a full liquor bar with multiple flat screen TVs lining the walls displaying the best local teams–not to mention a DJ booth that plays weekend host to an eclectic mix of local DJ talent.
