This year, our 8th Annual “Shuck Off” Oyster Shucking Contest and Seafood Fest is featured as one of Chicago Tribune’s Chicago Food Bowl’s industry events! On Sunday, August 19th, the most talented local shuckers will compete before a panel of judges for a $1,200 cash prize. We’ll feature Ballast Point & craft cocktail drink specials as well as our famous char-grilled oysters and Chef’s choice oysters by the dozen. Kick off the day’s festivities at our Crawfish & Crab Boil from 12-3pm ($35 plus tax & service fee) includes all-you-can eat crawfish, corn and potatoes. Seating is first-come first-served.
Next up is a festive Oyster Happy Hour from 3-6pm (no tickets necessary). After a full day of seafood, top the night off with the Oyster Shucking Contest starting at 5:30pm!
